The situation of Ukrainian students in Poland and their inclusion in the Polish education system were main topics of talks in Rome between the minister of education and science, Przemysław Czarnek, with the Italian minister of education, Patrizio Bianchi.

Minister Czarnek spoke about the legal solutions prepared by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) and emphasized that children from Ukraine can study in preparatory units or join classes. Decisions in this respect are made by the school headmaster.

The head of MEiN also pointed out that many Ukrainian students benefit from remote education and continue to study in the Ukrainian education system. He emphasized that Polish schools support Ukrainian students in this area and provide classes and equipment for distance learning.

Przemysław Czarnek invited the head of the Italian Ministry of Education to an international scientific conference on modern oncological therapies. The event will be attended by scientists from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
