Prof. Mikhail Zgurovsky, Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine – Kyiv Polytechnic University was a guest of Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), where he met with the Rector of WUT Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba and the Rector of WUT from 2005 to 2012 Prof. Włodzimierz Kurnik.

Their talks concerned joint activities of the universities. It was recalled that the Kyiv and Warsaw Universities of Technology have been implementing a cooperation agreement since 2006. 

During the meeting, the Rectors discussed updating and expanding it, including in the areas of modern education and the mobility of students, teachers, and researchers. 

Prof. Zgurowski and Prof. Zaremba also discussed the participation of representatives of Kyiv University of Technology in the Language Tandems project. This is one of the activities of the ENHANCE consortium of European universities, to which the Warsaw University of Technology belongs, and the Kyiv University of Technology is an associate partner. Thanks to this project, students, doctoral students, and employees can meet people from the universities that make up the ENHANCE consortium and learn their languages, as well as help them learn their mother tongue.
