Members of the Polish-Chinese academic consortium met at the Silesian University of Technology

Representatives of Polish and Chinese universities met at the Silesian University of Technology as part of the Sino-Polish University Consortium, the first Polish-Chinese academic consortium that was established last year as part of the One Belt One Road initiative.

The meeting was attended by representatives of several dozen Chinese and Polish universities, including Beijing University of Technology, North China University of Technology, Tianjin University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology, and Silesian University of Technology, Warsaw and Opole University of Technology. The participants discussed on the role of the university in strengthening Polish-Chinese relations.

Sino-Polish University Consortium was established in March 2017. It is directed by the rectors of Beijing University of Technology, Chongqing Jiaotong University and Opole University of Technology. The consortium currently comprises 27 universities in Poland and China.
