Minister of science and education appeals to universities to shift to study and work online

Due to the decisions of the Polish government on the measures to fight the SARS-CoV-2 virus, in the period from 9 to 29 November 2020, it is necessary to shift to study and work online at universities as soon as possible.

The minister of education and science has appealed to university rectors to take this guideline into account in the organization of university administration work, studies, postgraduate studies, doctoral education and other forms of education.

-In order to slow down the spread of the coronavirus in Poland, it is necessary to take decisive action. It is up to all of us to decide in which direction the second wave of the epidemic will develop – emphasizes the Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek to university chancellors.

At the same time, Minister Czarnek asked the authorities of universities conducting medical faculties to carry out practical classes taking into account the needs of the health care system, which requires the support of medical staff in the fight against the epidemic.
