During his visit to the Mazovian Academy in Płock, Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek encouraged young people to bravely take up new scientific challenges and to get involved in student government activities. He also assured of his support for the entire academic community.

According to the Ministry of Science, Minister Wieczorek also spoke about the development of the scientific and didactic base of higher education from the region.

“The construction and renovation of dormitories is one of the most important issues for the Ministry of Science”, he stressed. “We are planning to amend the law on the endowment fund so that universities can benefit from these funds. Good housing conditions are one of our priorities”, added Dariusz Wieczorek.

The Mazovian Academy has been providing medical education since this academic year. During a meeting with the university’s authorities and students, the head of the Ministry of Science assured them of ministerial support.

“I would like to reassure you that it is not our aim to liquidate new medical faculties. We will control what happens at these faculties and final decisions will be made after the results of the control”, said Minister Wieczorek.
