Ministerial scholarships for outstandingly talented young researchers of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology

Five young scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the amount of PLN 5,390 per month for three years.

The applications were evaluated by an advisory team selected from candidates proposed by the Main Council for Science and Higher Education, the Science Evaluation Commission and the Young Scientists Council. 211 scientists from all over Poland received scholarships – including 29 doctoral students.

The jury honored were five researchers from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology: Dr Eng. Marcin Kaszuba (mechanical department), Dr Adam Narbudowicz and Dr Eng. Róża Goścień (electronics department), Dr Eng. Michał Baranowski (faculty of basic technical problems) and Jan Zaręba (chemical department).

Ministerial scholarships are granted to the young scientists who conduct innovative, high-level scientific research and enjoy high-profile and international scientific achievements.
