The Ministry of Science and Higher Education in cooperation with the Foundation of Young Science has launched an educational platform with open online courses that allows free lifelong learning.
The Polish Mooc (massive open online course) is a virtual course created by Polish academic centers and institutions related to distance learning in cooperation with the business world and non-governmental organizations.
– The technological revolution, also in the area of education, is happening before our eyes. Already today, over 80 million students in the world use platforms that offer MOOC courses. Over 800 universities provide such courses to students around the world. They support and supplement traditional forms of education, where the master-student relationship is the most important thing – said Piotr Dardziński, deputy minister of science and higher education during the inauguration of the project.
