Preparation of guidelines for universities and science entities regarding didactic classes, organization of mass events in university facilities, functioning of dormitories and canteens – including a special team dealing with coronavirus emergencies is set up by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The preparing team started its operations on March 2.

The team, established in cooperation with the Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Schools, will coordinate activities of a coronavirus threat, introduce joint practices at Polish universities and monitor the situation – said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin.

-Considering higher education, universities, scientific institutes – we are well prepared for the possible occurrence of coronavirus in Poland; there is no reason to worry, all our activities are planned. We are convinced that all necessary steps have been taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus. We are in constant contact with the General Sanitary Inspectorate, the situation is under control – added Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin.
