Ten projects selected in the competition “Routes of Independent Poland” will receive almost PLN 10 million. The program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education is implemented as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence.
The project is to support scientific and artistic initiatives devoted to issues related to the Polish heritage of independence. It is also to present the Polish independence idea of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Among the awarded ten projects were “Shaping the borders of independent Poland in the light of cartographic documents” and “Interactive Historical Atlas – Routes of Independent Poland 1914-1922” submitted by the University of Maria Curie Skłodowska in Lublin. University of Szczecin will receive funding for the implementation of the project “Cemeteries in the suburbs of Lwow. Polish national heritage” and the University of Lodz for the work “Education and upbringing for forming Polish modernity and independence in the years 1915-1918 “.
