Piotr Dardziński, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, informed that the Ministry of Science is launching a new anti-plagiarism program that will apply to all scientific works. At present, only master’s theses are checked by the anti-plagiarism system.

– We are creating a database of all diploma theses: bachelor’s, master’s, PhD’s, and all publications, including the Polish Internet, which will be updated every month. The system will search all of these databases and check whether any work is not a result of plagiarism – explained Dardziński.

The deputy minister assured that the system would be very effective and would also prevent “more intelligent methods to make plagiarisms” because it contains AI elements.
