The University of Zielona Góra began the construction of the Multiprofiled Center of Medical Simulation at the Medical Faculty (WCSM). The task is implemented since January and will be completed in the middle of 2023.

The rooms of the Center ensure the preservation of the communication route and the continuation of the scenario from pre-hospital care to the hospital rooms. Within WCSM simulation, students of the medical faculty will find high-fidelity rooms including an ambulance simulator, a Hospital Emergency Department, an intensive care unit, an operation room, a delivery room, simulation rooms for basic and advanced resuscitation procedures (ALS and BLS), and a surgical room . Also, the “Standardized patient” program will be implemented within the project.

The value of the project is approximately PLN 16.5 million, of which the construction costs 5.5 million PLN. The remaining 11 million PLN will be spent to provide simulators and medical equipment. The WCSM surface will be 1 135 sq m.
