National Agency for Academic Exchange assessed the third Polish Language Promotion program

The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has assessed the third Polish Language Promotion program. 16 projects out of 30 submitted applications will receive co-financing for the promotion of the Polish language, history and Polish culture.  

This year’s beneficiaries include universities and institutes: the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, University of Białystok, University of Warsaw, the University of Silesia in Katowice, Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, University of Humanities and Sciences. Jana Długosza in Częstochowa, University of Gdańsk, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce and the State Higher School of Applied Sciences in Chełm.

The aim of the program is to promote the Polish language and elements of Polish history and culture by financing projects that raise the quality of teaching and the prestige of Polish as a foreign language, permanently influencing the image of Poland in the world.
