National Agency for Academic Exchange completed the Canaletto 2021 program

On the basis of the recommendation of the Polish-Italian joint committee, the director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange Dr Grazyna Żebrowska decided to finance 15 new projects that will be implemented in the years 2022-23 in the framework of joint research projects Canaletto.     

The projects recommended for financing include: the project of the University of Warsaw and Università di Bologna “New nanoparticle antioxidants: design, synthesis and study of the mechanism of action in terms of potential applications”, the project of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Università di Milano called “Assessment potential inhibitors of the main protease Mpro SARS-CoV-2 as drug candidates in Covid-19 therapy – from leading structures to the lipid carrier system” and the project of Lublin University of Technology and Università di Pisa “Identification of defects in advanced composite materials with mechanical couplings”.

The Canaletto program aims to support the mobility of scientists carrying out research projects agreed and carried out jointly by universities, research institutes and eligible applicants from Poland and partners from Italy.
