The National Synchrotron Radiation Center SOLARIS, operating at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, will receive approximately PLN 200 million thanks to the support of the Ministry of Education and Science.
This support will ensure the maintenance of the Centre’s unique instruments and free access for all research groups for the next 5 years. The received funding will also enable development works and activities to activate the domestic and foreign scientific community.
The aim of the project is to support research and development work carried out with the use of synchrotron radiation and cryomicroscopy. They will be implemented using the research infrastructure of the National Synchrotron Radiation Center SOLARIS. Research and development works will be carried out by domestic and foreign users, including those from the member states of the European Consortium for Central European Research Infrastructure (CERIC-ERIC).
