The School of Polish Language and Culture of the University of Silesia received the accreditation of the National Agency for Academic Exchange for the implementation of Polish language courses in the years 2021–2023.

The School of Polish Language and Culture was included in the prestigious group of twelve institutions that received accreditation. As the only center, it has been authorized to carry out all forms of activity: remote and full-time summer schools, a preparatory course to study in Polish and a methodology course for foreign teachers. This year’s course is attended by scholarship holders from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Palestine, Yemen and Pakistan.

For over 30 years, the school has been educating foreigners in Poland and abroad, conducts postgraduate qualification studies in teaching Polish culture and Polish as a foreign language, and organizes seminars and conferences on the Polish language and culture, teaching Polish as a foreign and / or second language, and translations.
