The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the call for applications for the NAWA Intervention Grants programme for the second round in 2022. The best projects responding to a rapidly changing world are eligible for funding of up to PLN 300,000.

NAWA’s Intervention Grants programme supports international cooperation between research teams or international mobility of researchers in response to sudden, important, unforeseen social, civilisational and natural phenomena with global or regionally relevant consequences.

Proposals submitted to the programme must cover research activities that, due to the need for a rapid response, are not possible by applying for other existing funding mechanisms and applying for standard funding sources could lead to the loss of a unique opportunity to address an important problem. 

The call for proposals for the second round will run until 15 November 2022.
