On March 25, 2021, the National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA will announce the next Bekker program. This year the Bekker NAWA program will also be available for doctoral students.
The aim of the Program is to support the international mobility of doctoral students, scientists and academic teachers in their pursuit of scientific excellence by enabling them to develop in research in foreign research and academic centers around the world.
The program is addressed to doctoral students and scientists representing all fields of science, and the host units can be research or academic centers around the world.
Trips lasting from 3 to 24 months will allow scientists to research in recognized research centers, establish long-term cooperation and to implement projects together with outstanding foreign scientists. For younger scientists, the program will also provide an opportunity for valuable postdoctoral fellowships. Also, it allows doctoral students to realize a part of their education abroad.
