Over PLN 192 million from European Funds will be received by Polish scientists and entrepreneurs for the implementation of 30 innovative projects in various fields. The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) has completed the seventh “Applicable Projects” competition.
The highest score in the competition was achieved by the project “Pre-clinical development of monoclonal antibodies for the diagnosis and therapy of canine hematological cancers”, submitted by a consortium composed of: Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences and a company Vet Planet. In this case, the recommended funding is approximately PLN 2.3 million.
The highest recommended amount of co-financing, about PLN 15.5 million, is allocated to a project of an absorbable dressing “based on active exogenous tropocollagen from fish skins with the addition of modified carbon nanopowders”. The project is developed by the Lodz University of Technology, Sancoll sp.z o.o. and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
