National Center for Research and Development launches first “Dual Studies” call

In a new academic year students of several dozen Polish universities will gain new opportunities to combine theoretical classes with employment in business. As part of the first call for “Dual Studies”, more than PLN 123 million will be allocated to Polish universities – informs the National Center for Research and Development.

As part of the “Dual Studies” call 84 applications were submitted and 69 projects received funding.
The project of Kozminski University in Warsaw to educate students in the field of health economic and big data analytics and dual course for design in the field of mechanics and mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology were assessed as the best solutions. The next position was received by project of the Lodz University of Technology in the field of practical design. The University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Poznań took the third position, with a new course animal nutrition and fodder production.
