The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) will allocate PLN 100 million from European Funds to support new technologies in the agricultural sector under Fast Track”Agrotech” competition.
The aim of the initiative is to increase the competitiveness of Polish companies working on projects in the field of robotization and automation, digitization and environmentally friendly production of agri-food.
-We have excellent agricultural universities and research centers operating in veterinary medicine as well as food and environmental protection. It is particularly important that the results of their work find practical application. Through the new NCBR initiative, we want to strengthen the transfer of knowledge from science to the agri-food industry – said Wojciech Murdzek, Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The support can be received for industrial research, experimental development and pre-implementation works. The only obligatory element of the project are experimental development works.
The call for proposals in the competition will start on September 10 and will last until November 6, 2020.
