Polish Academy of Sciences to hold international scientific conference on the future of work

The Committee of Labor Sciences and Social Policy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Mykolo Romerio Universitetas in Vilnius (Lithuania) and the State University of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship (WSIiP) in Łomża are organizing an international scientific conference “Work – trends and challenges in the context of Economy 4.0 ” on September 21-23, 2020.

In the second decade of the 21st century, one of the key issues is the future of work, shaped by changes under the influence of the development of the 4.0 economy concept, concerning a significant increase in the automation and robotization of production processes and the expansion of the use of Internet information and computer data management systems in organizations. The participants of the conference will discuss the prospects of “work”, whether humanity will deal with its “end”, or it will only change its character.

The aim of the conference is to exchange views, present research results, analyzes on new trends and challenges related to issues of work in the context of Economy 4.0, including the international aspect.
