Projects from the Silesian University of Technology will be financed under the Lider Program by the National Center for Research and Development. The program is addressed to doctoral students, academic teachers without a doctoral title and doctors, who obtained this title not earlier than in the last 7 years.

The subsidies will be used by: Maciej Sowa for “Development of the technology of forming anodic oxide coatings on light metal alloys by means of plasma electrolytic treatment in the direction of obtaining comprehensive surface protection systems”; Dr Eng. Marcin Kozłowski for “Innovative solutions for point-mounted laminated glass with increased post-critical load capacity”; Dr Eng. Alicja Kazek-Kęsik for “Technology of producing hybrid layers on titanium implants dedicated to animals” and Dr Eng. Krystian Radlak for “Integrated IT system for the safety assessment of deep neural networks in autonomous cars”.
