National Center for Research and Development to offer PLN 70 million for cybersecurity research projects

The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) has already announced the fourth competition Cybersecurity and e-Identity under the CyberSecIdent program. The amount of grants provided for co-financing innovative cybersecurity projects is PLN 70.1 million. The call for proposals will start on June 15, 2020.

The CyberSecIdent program focuses on technological solutions that facilitate cooperation and coordination of activities between different cyberspace security areas with particular emphasis on digital identity. The aim of the announced competition is to select projects that will contribute most to the level of security of Polish cyberspace by increasing the availability of hardware and programming tools.

The competition is directed to scientific consortia, consisting of at least two scientific units or scientific and industrial consortia, consisting at least one scientific unit and at least one entrepreneur, may apply for funding.
