National Program for the Development of Humanities invited for competitions

Two contests National Heritage and Universalia 2.2. were settled as part of the National Program for the Development of Humanities.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education in the National Heritage competition qualified for funding 28 best projects for the total amount of nearly 32.5 million PLN. Within the Universalia 2.2. 11 projects will be financed for the amount of nearly 2.5 million PLN.

Among the financed projects were, among others: “Alma Mater Leopoliensis. History of Lwow humanities 1661-1946.” By the team led by Prof. Anna Janina Dąbrowska from the Faculty of Philology of the University of Wroclaw, “Encyclopedia of the Warsaw Ghetto”, by Prof. Andrzej Żbikowski from the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute and “Translation, critical edition and analysis of the content of the Płock Pontifical from the 12th century” by the Professor Henryk Seweryniak from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.
