National Research Institute offers new functions in the system of monitoring the economic fate of university graduates

06.10.2021

The Information Processing Center – National Research Institute (OPI PIB) for the first time offered new functions in the nationwide system of monitoring the Economic Fate of University Graduates (ELA). From now on, anyone can obtain information not only about the professional careers of graduates, but also PhDs.

New data show that PhDs receive a higher salary than graduates obtaining a master’s degree at the same time. PhDs in social sciences gain the most.

In 2019, 7,085 doctors received their titles in Poland, mostly in medical and health sciences (1565) and social sciences (1563), and the least in theological sciences (148).

Every year, we add new functions that allow users for a better analysis of the economic fate of graduates. In the ELA system, we introduced a new type of report this year, available for individual faculties, universities and Poland. Our system is considered to be one of the best in the European Union – says Dr Eng. Jarosław Protasiewicz, director (OPI PIB).
