The cornerstone for the construction of a new multi-purpose building has been ceremoniously laid at the Naval Academy in Gdynia. The building will stand in the north-western part of the already existing AMW complex. Next to Sea Towers, the building will be one of the dominant and distinctive landmarks in Gdynia.

The building will contain a canteen and a kitchen with the possibility of all-day catering for up to 300 people, 6 lecture halls for 50 people and an auditorium for 70 people, 100 single and 50 double rooms for final year cadets and staff of the Polish Armed Forces and 4 training rooms.

Storage and technical rooms have been designed on each floor. There will be laundry and drying rooms, as well as TV lounges and rooms for teamwork or enabling remote teaching. There will also be an additional gym and teaching rooms. The cost of the investment is more than PLN 114 million, with funds provided by the Ministry of Defence.
