The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is launching a new NAWA Intervention Grants program. It will finance projects which, if not implemented quickly, may lose their opportunity to solve the research problem.
The aim of the program is to support international cooperation of research teams or international mobility of scientists in response to important, sudden and unforeseen social, civilization and natural phenomena with global or regionally significant consequences.
The NAWA Intervention Grant under the program will amount to half a million PLN for one research project, lasting from 3 to 12 months. It will support projects that cannot be funded under other existing funding mechanisms. NAWA Intervention Grants will be awarded continuously until 31 December 2020 or until the program budget of PLN 1.5 million is exhausted.
