The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) has launched a new Government Strategic Program Hydrostrateg “Innovations for water management and inland navigation”. As part of it, it organizes a competition for entrepreneurs and scientists who have an idea to implement new solutions improving the efficiency of water use and management in Poland.
The call for proposals in the competition started on July 18 and will last until October 31, 2022.
Basic and industrial research, experimental development works and pre-implementation works may be co-financed in the competition. At the same time, it is important that funding may be granted to a project that provides for at least experimental development work.
The thematic scope of the competition includes three areas: “Water in the environment – biodiversity / bioproductivity”, “Water in the city”, “Inland navigation”. The funds allocated by the NCBR for co-financing projects selected in this competition amount to PLN 200 million.
