After 16 years Prof. Piotr Wolański ceased to be the chairman of the Space and Satellite Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN). The president of the Polish Academy of Sciences appointed the new head of the Committee: Prof. Zbigniew Kłos of the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

In addition, the Presidium of the PAN appointed Dr Eng. Leszek Loroch, Dr Eng. Adam Okniński and Dr Grzegorz Brona to the Space and Satellite Research Committee (KBKiS) at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2019-2022.

Dr Eng. Leszek Loroch, director of the Aerospace Technology Center at the Institute of Aviation, was elected to the post of the 2nd Vice President of the Space and Satellite Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Dr Eng. Adam Okniński, head of the Department of Space Technology at the Institute of Aviation, was appointed to create the Sections of the KBKiS PAN Exit Systems. Dr Grzegorz Brona becomes the president of the Polish Agency of Space.
