The University of Silesia in Katowice has signed further cooperation agreements: with the School nr 11 in Kęty, 1st Secondary school in Kęty; with the School of Arts in Dąbrowa Górnicza and the Upper Silesian Education Center Maria Skłodowska-Curie in Gliwice.

Cooperation with schools will enable students to participate in lectures, seminars and workshops at the university and lectures at the school. Under the contracts, teachers will receive support in raising professional qualifications, and students will be able to take pedagogical practices at school or participate in observational activities.

The agreement with the Upper Silesian Education Center assumes the implementation of joint projects and cooperation in the organization and promotion of cultural and educational events. The university and schools are planning also to animate and create cooperation networks aimed at better use of the scientific and human potential of both parties.
