The National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) has started the call for proposals in a new program addressed to foreigners – POLONISTA Program for students of Polish and Polish studies 2019.

The aim of the Program is to popularize the Polish language in the world and to support foreigners studying as part of Polish studies and programs carried out in foreign academic centers by allowing them to spend one or two semesters at a selected public university in Poland.

The program is addressed to students of foreign Polish studies or Polish programs implemented as part of Slavic studies (in the field of Polish language, Polish culture and knowledge about Poland). Also winners and finalists of the Polish Language and Literature Competitions organized outside of Poland are eligible for participation in the Program.
