New workshop at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology

26.03.2018

The new didactic and research laboratory was opened at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Wrocław University of Technology. It enables to conduct classes in the field of heating and heating technologies.

The lab will be used by full-time and part-time students of Environmental Engineering. They can run simulations of the heating installation, including floor heating with a heat pump as a source of energy.

Thanks to the laboratory, students will be able to use theoretical knowledge in practice, because, as emphasized Dr Marcin Klimczak from the Department of Conditioning, Heating, Gas and Air Protection, students are usually able to design a heating installation, but they do not know how these systems look in fact.

The laboratory was established thanks to the cooperation of the Environmental Engineering Department with the TECE company, a global producer of sanitary and heating systems.
