Nicolaus Copernicus University in the top 100 of the QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia ranking

The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń was once again in the top 100 in the Emerging Europe and Central Asia ranking, organized by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), one of the three most prestigious ranking organizations.

Toruń’s university noted its first big success in the QS ranking in 2019. It was a promotion by 19 places to the 88th place. In the ranking for 2021, the university reachrd 85th place. The top three positions were taken by Lomonosov State University (Russia), University of Tartu (Estonia) and Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).

The ranking has been carried out since 2004 by Quacquarelli Symonds – an organization dealing with the issues of higher education. The most important goal of the ranking is to enable applicants to study at a rational choice of universities and to popularize the idea of ​​studying outside their home country.
