Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń rated in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking

The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń has once again been included in the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE WUR). The university maintained its position from a year ago, ranking in the range of 1001-1200. 

THE WUR is one of the three most respected and most commented international university rankings. This year’s ranking includes over 1,600 higher education entities from 99 countries and dependent territories. It is based on 13 indicators that measure institutional performance in four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international perspectives.

The first place in the ranking was taken by Oxford University, the second-place ex aequo by the California Institute of Technology and Harvard University, followed by Stanford University. The best Polish universities include the Jagiellonian University, keeping its position in the sixth hundred. The second was the University of Warsaw, classified in the range of 601-800.
