In 2021, the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń will begin the construction of the Technical Sciences Center. The center will be a modern base for technical studies at the faculties of physics, astronomy and applied computer science.
– Currently, thanks to the kindness of the city authorities, we are using a small building outside the campus. Now we will have completely new opportunities for the development of these studies at our university – says the dean of the faculty, Prof. Włodzimierz Jaskólski.
Two buildings with a total area of 2 thousand sq. m, will be built on the western edge of the university campus in Bielany, between Szosa Okrezna and the “Uniwersytet” tram terminus. The university is currently looking for a designer, and construction work will begin early next year. The total cost of the investment is over PLN 22 million. Construction will be financed from the state budget.
