Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń to receive money for the development

Over PLN 34 million will be received by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń for the development of its potential in the field of education programs, raising the competences of employees and students, internship programs, PhD studies and university management.

The project “Universitas Copernicana Thorunensis in Futuro II – modernization of the Nicolaus Copernicus University as part of the Integrated Program of the University” assumes adapting education programs to socio-economic needs, organizing high-quality internship programs and increasing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market, and creating a pilot model of interdisciplinary PhD studies under the name of the Toruń School of Social Sciences, Education, Science and Technology.

As part of the improvement of its management, the university has planned to improve the managerial competences of 2000 teachers, managerial and administrative staff. Money for the implementation of tasks is allocated by the National Center for Research and Development.
