The study “Conservation and restoration of works of art” at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń received the “Studies with the Future” accreditation certificate and an extraordinary award for the leader in the quality of education.

The “Studies with the Future” competition identifies and honors selected programs and studies at Polish universities, which are characterized by innovation, adaptation to the needs of the labor market and modern didactic solutions.

Education of conservators of monuments in Toruń has over 70 years of tradition. The constant presence of experts in fields related to conservation, such as art history, museology, plastic arts, as well as more distant sciences that are also necessary in the process of protection and research of works of art, such as chemistry, physics, biology or law, creates the opportunity to develop and efficient use of the professional research facilities.
