The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń concluded a cooperation agreement with the 8th Kujawsko-Pomorska Brigade of Territorial Defense. The document was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Andrzej Sokala and the brigade commander, Colonel Krzysztof Stańczyk.

The parties to the agreement will cooperate in gaining social approval for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland; disseminating educational activities for state defense; shaping patriotic attitudes among students and conducting activities aimed at popularizing military service and pro-defense attitudes.

The university will popularize and expose the idea of ​​territorial defense in the university environment and the participation of its representatives in events, demonstrations and exercises. The brigade will include popularization of the activities of the university in its subordinate units and in its information activities. It will allow students to participate in their own training projects.
