Krakow University of Technology opened an Internet of Things laboratory

On Friday, November 26, the GlobalLogic IoT Lab didactic laboratory was officially opened at the Krakow University of Technology (PK). The studio devoted to the area of ​​the Internet of Things (IoT) was founded by GlobalLogic – a leader in digital engineering services. The laboratory will be used by Kraków students, especially the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications. 

The area of Internet of Things is one of the most dynamically developing sectors in the IT services industry. The demand on the labor market for specialists who will be able to create and operate intelligent systems and devices is huge. During the classes at GlobalLogic IoT Lab, students will learn about the basics of electronics and digital technology, microprocessors and microcontrollers, embedded systems, hardware platforms.

GlobalLogic has been operating in the digital engineering services industry for over 20 years, creating innovative IT products for clients in the automotive, communications, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, media and entertainment, semiconductor and technology industries. GlobalLogic has been part of the Hitachi group since 2021.
