On Friday, 11 January 2019, the 8th “Biologists’ Night” will take place in 34 scientific centers and natural sciences and biology departments of universities in Poland.

The night encounter with biology will consist of nearly 1,500 events: shows, presentations, workshops, lectures and exhibitions. Researchers will try to answer the questions: How do animals and plants spend the winter? Does everyone sleep at night? What is happening in the laboratories of biologists?

As the organizers stress, that night “dozens of scientists fascinated by the phenomenon of Life, will come out of laboratories to tell people what their work is and how unusual phenomena can be observed even with very simple methods”.
