Nobelist of Ben L. Feringa to hold a lecture at the University of Poznan

of Chemistry of Adam Mickiewicz University and the City of Poznań invite participants to the open lecture “The Art of Building Small”, which will be given by the Nobel laureate in chemistry – Professor Ben L. Feringa. The lecture will start at 12 on Thursday, June 21 in the auditorium (room 264) of the university’s chemistry department.

In addition to the Nobel Prize in 2016 (obtained together with Jean-Pierre Sauvage and Sir J. Fraser Stoddart), he has also received many other prestigious awards for designing and synthesizing molecular machines. He is the winner of the highest Dutch scientific prize – the Spinoza prize in 2004 and the Humboldt Foundation awards in 2012. Prof. Feringa is a co-author of over 800 scientific works cited nearly 50,000. times.

The Polish Chemical Society honored Prof. Feringa with the highest medal of Maria Skłodowska-Curie.
