On June 11, the call for proposals for Integrated University Programs will be launched. This time, the National Center for Research and Development, the executive agency of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, will allocate a PLN billion for this purpose. The project is financed from the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development for 2014-2020.
As underlined Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Integrated University programs will be implemented to improve the competences of personnel and increase internationalization of Polish universities by inviting lecturers from abroad.
Public and non-public higher education institutions can apply for this co-financing. It is implemented in the form of three paths, depending on the size of the university. As a result, smaller universities will not have to compete for funds with larger ones. Projects should last from 18 to 48 months. The co-financing amounts from PLN 3 to 40 million.
