The University of Opole (UO) and the Opole University of Technology will cooperate with the Warsaw-based Foundation for the Development of the Education System. The main objective of the concluded agreement is to create a cross-sectoral innovation and competence centre Erasmus+ InnHUB Opole.
The centre is to integrate the potential of Opole’s universities, schools, vocational training centres, entrepreneurs, social organisations and municipal and regional authorities.
“In many fields we compete with the Opole University of Technology because we have similar fields of study or areas of research. But in many areas we can cooperate within the framework of networking. We hope to develop this cooperation. The more institutional partners there are in various development programmes, the better, as this gives the possibility for these partners to bring in unique competences and serves to develop a synergy effect beneficial to many parties in such cooperation”, announces the Vice-Rector for Development and Finance, Dr Rafał Matwiejczuk, UO professor.
