The University of Opole has been nominated for the Polish Intelligent Development Award for 2019 in the “Studies of the Future” category for the implementation of the “Paleobiology. Internationalization of the masters specialization in Biology at the Independent Department of Biosystematics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology of the Opole University”.

The project was implemented by paleobiologists from the Independent Department of Biosystematics (now the Institute of Biology) and ended this year with the promotion of 17 masters.

The Polish Intelligent Development Award is a nationwide award appreciating the most innovative projects implemented as part of EU and national programs by Polish scientific institutions, institutions and companies dealing with research and development activities, which by their innovative investments and solutions will apply to Poland’s sustainable development.
