University of Silesia researchers won the Preludium competition

Four researchers from the University of Silesia have won the prize for students starting their careers with no PhD title under the Prelude competition.

Young researchers will implement the projects: “The right to privacy and the right to be forgotten in the process of choosing personalized internet advertising – a legal model”; “Alternating care and parental authority of parents living apart”; “Assessment of reproductive potential, expression of vitellogenins and telomere length in the model organism Acheta domesticus from the wild line and selected for longevity, after exposure to graphene oxide and ascorbic acid” and “Development of symmetrical 3,9-disubstituted perylenes via cycloaddition reactions – new nanographic structures.”

1094 projects were submitted to the competition organized by the National Science Center, of which 212 applications were qualified for funding.
