The Opole University of Technology has established cooperation with Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University. The effect of the agreement will be a joint double diploma program, approved by the Ministry of Education in China, taking into account the mobility of Chinese students and teachers of the University of Technology for teaching purposes. 

The next step will be a detailed agreement allowing Chinese students to receive a diploma from two universities after completing part of their studies in Opole. The double degree program is prepared for the Environmental Engineering BA program and more than a third of the classes will be taught by lecturers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in China during the first three years of study. Students will come to Opole for the last two semesters.

The planned cooperation also involves research, training and preparation of educational materials by employees of both institutions.
