Only 32 Polish universities qualified for the latest THE World University Rankings 2023. Opole University of Technology is ranked ninth in Poland, with a place in the 1201-1500 range in the world ranking.

‘The results of THE World University Rankings are, above all, a great joy and satisfaction for us from the tremendous work of our university’s scientists, who have once again proved that also a medium-sized academic centre in the smallest voivodeship can be recognised not only nationally, but also globally’, says the Rector of the Opole University of Technology, Prof. Marcin Lorenc.

This year’s ranking analysed more than 121 million citations from over 15.5 million research publications and took into account survey responses from 40,000 scientists from around the world. In total, more than 680,000 data were collected for the ranking from the more than 2,500 institutions submitting them.
