Opole University of Technology purchases ARAMIS SRX measuring system

04.02.2021

The Faculty of Construction and Architecture of the Opole University of Technology purchased a high-resolution 3D camera system for measurements on a natural and laboratory scale. This is the only such class of equipment in Poland.

The ARAMIS SRX is worth of approximately 700 thousand PLN. It is a system of high-resolution 3D cameras with the possibility of precise filming up to 2,000. frames per second. Thanks to its high stability and reliability as well as a wide range of applications, it is perfect as a measuring system for advanced applications in an industrial environment.

– This equipment allows to work both on small elements, such as a concrete sample or a small steel element, but we can also test elements on a natural scale, i.e. reinforced concrete, steel and wooden beams; walls or much more complicated systems – says Dr Mariusz Czabak, Department of Materials Physics, Opole University of Technology.
