A Chinese garden will be constructed on half of the former military roll-call square on the second campus of the Opole University of Technology. For the implementation of the project of students – graduates – of Architecture and Construction, the university obtained PLN 3 million in funding from the Ministry of Education and Science.

Numerous trees, bushes, grass and elements of small architecture including benches and a fountain will be planted in the area of ​​the current car park. As a result, the university will create a space where students can rest or prepare for classes. Works on the Chinese garden will begin this year.

The concept of the Chinese garden refers to the Confucius Institute operating for 13 years at the Opole University of Technology, which is located on the premises of the second campus. In addition to learning Chinese, the facility also offers post-graduate studies and business consulting.
