The Opole University of Technology will cooperate with the Military Commando Unit from Lubliniec. The main points of cooperation are support in the education offer, cooperation in scientific research and specialist consultations for soldiers.

JWK in Lubliniec is the oldest military unit of Polish commandos. Its soldiers took part in military operations of the Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan, Iraq, Macedonia, Pakistan, Syria, Chad, and Congo. Now they will be able to train in university facilities, organize training for staff and students, and also cooperate with scientists as part of scientific research.

“Our service is quite specific, we conduct mountain and parachute training, there are many injuries. I think that consultations in the laboratories of the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy are a great way to check our soldiers. The cooperation will certainly be fruitful, we care about it”, emphasized the unit commander, Colonel Wojciech Danisiewicz.
